Who can join?
YEC is for youth aged 18–35 who are serious about building.
You don’t need to be wildly successful yet but you do need to be ambitious, disciplined, and actively working on something of your own.
Members join YEC because they have something to offer the network — whether it’s a business, a creative skill, an innovative idea, or valuable expertise.
We screen all members carefully. YEC is built on the quality of its people, which means every member is building, contributing, and adding value to the network.
Inside YEC, ambition is the norm. You collaborate with founders across industries, hold each other accountable, and grow within a curated circle of doers.
Every connection inside YEC is valuable — if not today, then tomorrow.

Within YEC exists YEC ELITE — an exclusive circle for our highest-performing members, giving them access to a private section with the most successful founders in the network.
Age Guideline
YEC is currently designed for members aged 18–35.
If you’re over 35, we still encourage you to apply. As the community grows, we will be introducing YEC Veterans — a dedicated network for experienced founders within the YEC ecosystem.
You may be among the first invited to join that circle.
Can I attend events without being a member?
No, all events are strictly member and invite only unless they are hosted by YEC Athletics.

Is YEC exclusively for South Africa?
Currently, our community is primarily South African, but our platform is digital and open to young entrepreneurs globally as we expand internationally.

Pay the once-off fee to unlock full access to YEC’s network, events, and the upcoming platform.
You'll be added to a temporary group until the official platform launches in January

What are the membership fees used for?
YEC membership fees are reinvested directly into building a high-value ecosystem for young entrepreneurs. Your contribution supports:
- Platform development & maintenance
Building and improving the YEC digital platform, tools and member experience. - Events & experiences
Hosting high-quality networking events, meetups, workshops and talks across cities. - Content & education
Creating practical content, resources, interviews and sessions with founders, operators and industry leaders. - Community growth & moderation
Ensuring an active, curated community with proper moderation, onboarding and support. - Partnerships & opportunities
Securing mentors, sponsors, investors and strategic partners that create real opportunities for members. - Operations & sustainability
Covering essential costs that allow YEC to operate sustainably and continue delivering long-term value.
Membership fee
Lifetime Access:
A once-off fee unlocks lifetime entry into the Youth Entrepreneur Club.
Price Growth:
Membership prices increase over time as the club grows, adds new features, events and platform upgrades. Early members lock in the lowest price ever offered.
YEC reserves the right to introduce a monthly or annual retainer fee effective 01 January 2027. All members will receive a minimum of three (3) months’ notice prior to the implementation of any such fee. Members’ that join in 2025 and 2026 will not be required to pay a retainer fee until 2028.
