Youth Entrepreneur Club (YEC)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Youth Entrepreneur Club (“YEC”, “we”, “our”, “the Club”) platforms, services, community, merchandise, events, and all related offerings.
By joining YEC, purchasing merchandise, attending events, or using any YEC platform, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Membership
1.1 Eligibility
Members must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Provide accurate information during registration.
- Agree to abide by all community rules and these Terms.
1.2 Membership Fee (Strictly Non-Refundable)
All once-off and recurring membership fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances once 24 hours have elapsed from the time of payment.
YEC does not guarantee any specific outcomes such as business growth, client acquisition, investment, collaborations, or personal success.
1.3 Membership Access & Structure
Membership grants access to the YEC platform, community features, and selected events as advertised. Access levels may vary depending on membership tier.
YEC Membership is currently offered as a one-time payment, granting approved members access to the YEC ecosystem from the date of approval.
Membership access is subject to ongoing status as outlined in these Terms.
1.4 Retainer Fee & Continued Access
YEC reserves the right to introduce a monthly or annual retainer or maintenance fee starting in 2027 for continued access to the YEC platform, community, events, and membership benefits.
- Members will be notified at least three (3) months in advance prior to the introduction of any retainer fee.
- The retainer fee may apply to new members, existing members, or selected membership tiers at YEC’s discretion.
- Payment of the retainer fee may be required to maintain active membership access and benefits.
1.5 Membership Lapse & Reactivation
If a member chooses not to pay the required retainer fee once introduced:
- Their membership will move into an inactive status, and access to the platform, community features, and events will be suspended.
- Members may apply to reactivate their membership at a later stage, subject to approval and then-current membership terms.
- Reactivated memberships will be valid for 12 months, after which continued access or renewal requirements may apply.
1.6 No Guarantees of Features
While YEC aims to provide high-value resources, connections, and experiences:
- YEC does not guarantee the availability or continuity of any specific feature, event, or service.
- YEC only guarantees access to a network of people, not the behaviour, availability, or reliability of those people.
2. Merchandise
2.1 Non-Refundable
All YEC merchandise purchases are strictly non-refundable unless required by consumer law for manufacturing defects.
2.2 Limited Edition Items
Some items (e.g., early supporter t-shirts) will never be restocked.
3. Events
3.1 Access
Some events may be free for members, while others may require payment.
3.2 Changes
YEC reserves the right to:
- Change event dates, guest speakers, locations, or formats.
- Cancel events without obligation to provide refunds on membership fees.
4. Platform & Community Use
4.1 Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, scam, threaten, or harm others.
- Distribute false information.
- Promote illegal activities.
- Misuse YEC to solicit money, investments, or services under false pretenses.
4.2 Business Interactions with Members
Any interaction, business relationship, partnership, or transaction between members is strictly at your own risk.
YEC is not responsible for:
- Scams
- Fraud
- Misrepresentation
- Bad business deals
- Financial losses
- Damages resulting from interaction with other members
You agree to perform your own due diligence before engaging with any member.
5. Termination & Removal
5.1 Removal After First Warning
YEC may remove any member from the Club after the first warning for:
- Misconduct
- Disrespect
- Scamming
- Violating community rules
- Disruptive behaviour
- Misrepresenting YEC
- Attempting to harm YEC or its members
5.2 No Refunds Upon Removal
If removed, all membership fees remain strictly non-refundable.
6. Discontinuation of Services
6.1 Right to Suspend or Close Operations
YEC reserves the right to:
- Suspend the platform
- Modify the business model
- Pause operations
- Fully discontinue YEC at any time
6.2 Non-Refundable
If YEC suspends, changes, or discontinues its operations, memberships remain strictly non-refundable.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
7.1 No Liability for Member Actions
YEC is not liable for:
- Actions of any member
- Online or offline interactions
- Business outcomes
- Advice, information, or content provided by members or third parties
- Losses or damages of any kind arising from your involvement with YEC
7.2 No Professional Advice
Any guidance provided through the platform (business, financial, legal, etc.) is general in nature.
YEC does not provide professional advice and is not responsible for decisions made based on such information.
8. Safety & Security
You are responsible for:
- Protecting your personal information
- Maintaining secure account credentials
- Avoiding suspicious links, requests, or investment offers
YEC may provide safety tips but is not responsible for enforcing them.
9. Content & Intellectual Property
9.1 YEC Content
All content on the platform, events, branding, posts, and materials belong to YEC and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission.
9.2 Member Content
By posting inside YEC, you grant YEC the right to display your content within the community.
10. Changes to Terms
YEC may update these Terms at any time.
Continuing to use YEC means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
12. Acceptance
By joining, using the platform, purchasing merchandise, or attending events, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood these Terms.
- You fully agree to them.
- You accept that all membership and merchandise fees are strictly non-refundable.
