The R1000 once-off membership fee secures your position within the Youth Entrepreneur Club (YEC) ecosystem.

As YEC continues to grow — through platform enhancements, expanded events and new initiatives — the membership joining fee will increase for future intakes. Members who join under the current structure retain lifetime access on the terms applicable at the time of joining.

Once your membership is activated, you receive immediate access to the YEC digital platform, giving you the ability to engage with the network at any time, from anywhere — without the need to share personal contact details.

YEC operates a private digital platform that serves as a 24/7 hub of curated entrepreneurs across South Africa, with planned international expansion.

As the ecosystem matures, additional features will be introduced, including:

Members who join at this stage are recognised as founding YEC members.

Events & In-Person Engagement

YEC members are eligible to attend all official YEC events, including:

Most events are offered free of charge or at a reduced rate for members.
All events are strictly member-only or invite-only.

Membership Capacity

Membership intakes are limited to preserve network quality, relevance and long-term value for all members.

Transparency Notice — Future Retainer

As the YEC ecosystem expands, a monthly or annual retainer may be introduced in the future.

Please note:

• No retainer will be introduced before 2027

• Any retainer would be announced at least 12 months in advance

• Members joining in 2026 would not be required to pay a retainer before 2028

• A retainer would only be considered once YEC has evolved into a fully-fledged entrepreneurial ecosystem with expanded benefits
